If you are looking for a wedding band in Italy, then you came to the right place. We are the only group in Italy that specialises in Irish weddings. The Italian Wedding Band (AKA The Swing Pistols) is based in Rome and was formed by singer Marino Marolini, who lived in Ireland for many years before returning with his Irish wife to Italy.

The Italian Wedding Band performs classic Italian and American swing tunes from the 50s and 60s. These include greats from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Louis Prima, among others. For a list of the band's repertoire and to listen to samples of the songs click on the music tab.

We perform at over 40 Irish weddings a year with great success. We believe that our understanding of the Irish people has put us in a privileged position to provide the perfect entertainment and 'craic', giving the couples and their guests a day to remember.

WHY A SWING BAND?
Swing is tailor-made for weddings. It caters for young and old alike, and is great to dance and sing-a-long to. Swing is timeless, and while most of your older relatives will not dance to a funk or rock tune, they will all get up for a classic Sinatra song.

WHY US?
Most bands in Italy will play, but will not entertain your guests, simply because they don't speak english or understand Irish customs. The Italian Wedding Band put together a show that involves your guests and makes them feel a part of your memorable day......and if you want to join us on stage to sing a song, you are welcome!
